Professional background

Fundación Argentina ASE

Juan Recce (Buenos Aires, 1979) holds degrees in Philosophy and International Relations, with postgraduate training in Strategic Affairs, Social Sciences and Business Administration. In 2013, he founded Fundación Argentina ASE, which he has chaired since its inception. Between 2007 and 2015, he taught postgraduate courses at UNLP and UNDEF in foreign policy, the environment, critical infrastructure and natural resources. His publications focus on the philosophical foundations of international relations, strategic identity and the evolution of global actors.

Until 2013, he held government positions involving strategic decision-making. He contributed to the conceptual and technical foundations of ocean policy projects and helped advance legislative initiatives to promote industrial development. Since 2014, his career as a business leader has spanned manufacturing, the construction of critical infrastructure, business turnarounds and the structuring of investments for productive development.

Through Fundación Argentina ASE, he brings together knowledge, technology and institutional cooperation in projects providing access to water in harsh environments, preventing fires in protected areas and monitoring terrestrial and ocean ecosystems.

His commitment to the Malvinas, the South Atlantic and Antarctica is reflected in technological, educational and artistic initiatives that connect sovereignty, memory and the protection of natural heritage. His work thus links reflection on power and resources with capacity-building and the transformation of territories.
